The Bay Area Immigrant
Rights Coalition (BAIRC) invites organizations and individuals
committed to BAIRCs values, agenda, mission, and
vision to join us as members. We recognize that active
member participation is the backbone of a strong coalition,
and therefore we require members to participate in three
or more BAIRC activities every six months to remain in
good standing. BAIRC activities include, but are not limited
to, campaign strategy sessions, committee meetings, direct
actions, general meetings, and press conferences. Membership
terms last for one year and may be renewed annually.
Individuals and organizations unable to meet BAIRCs
active participation requirement can still join the coalition,
but as affiliates. Affiliates do not have voting rights.
Their discounts on training are also smaller than those
of members.
